Beauty Industry News: Here’s our Beauty Buzz news roundup for June 2026—celebrating people and events in the beauty & packaging industries.
This month’s Beauty Buzz News focuses on Beauty Chain Capital—and its new turnkey manufacturing facility. Beauty Chain Capital is an investment platform focused on the beauty and personal care supply chain. The company has launched Beauty Chain Manufacturing, a vertically integrated, U.S.-based manufacturing platform “designed to deliver speed, scale, and control for today’s leading beauty brands.”
Located in Reno, Nevada, the state-of-the-art facility spans more than 100,000 square feet and supports high-volume production across skincare, haircare, and color cosmetics.
The fully integrated model includes full in-house formulation across liquids and powders; large-scale compounding and high-speed filling capabilities; turnkey services (component sourcing/customization; quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance; integrated warehousing, direct-to-consumer, and B2B fulfillment; ending OTC certification).
“Beauty Chain Manufacturing was built to solve the exact problems brands face today—lack of control, long lead times, and inconsistent quality,” said Derek Harvey, Co-Founder of Beauty Chain Capital. “We disrupted the packaging industry with FusionPKG, and we’re now doing the same in contract manufacturing. For too long, brands have relied on overseas partners for innovation, and that model is changing. We’re delivering that same level of innovation with greater speed, flexibility, and control, all based in the U.S. This is a defining moment for brands to take ownership of their supply chains, and we’re positioned to lead that shift.”
Jonathan Gross, Co-Founder of Beauty Chain Capital, says, “Brands today are operating in a fundamentally different environment than they were even five years ago.” He adds, “Speed-to-market, quality control, and supply chain visibility are no longer advantages—they are requirements. Beauty Chain Manufacturing was built from the ground up to meet those demands at scale.
“On top of the incredible, purpose-built facility, manufacturing in a low-cost, low-regulation environment gives us a meaningful competitive edge,” added Jonathan Gross. “We are able to deliver the speed and quality brands expect, without the constraints that have historically pushed production overseas.”
In other Beauty Buzz News, Cosmogen has acquired Asquan. Cosmogen specializes in high value-added application solutions for the beauty, wellness and health sectors. Asquan is a specialist in premium multi-category packaging. Now, both companies are combining their strengths.
Cosmogen&Asquan Group is a new international supplier with a unique premium offering. The company’s packaging solutions span skincare, haircare, makeup, and fragrance. The company now combines global solutions with bespoke developments.
Cosmogen&Asquan Group brings together nearly 80 employees and generates consolidated revenue of $50 million.
The Group will be led by:
Cosmogen&Asquan Group’s client portfolio includes LVMH, L’Oréal, Clarins, Caudalie, Puig, Shiseido, Westman Atelier, Huda Beauty, Kayali, and Martine. These brands reflect the company’s diverse capabilities and its strong international footprint. With operations across Europe, the U.S., Asia, and the Middle East, Cosmogen&Asquan Group now benefits from a solid, balanced base to accelerate its growth. The company aims to create new synergies for brands.
As CEO of Cosmogen, Priscille Allais has held senior executive positions at L’Oréal, LVMH, and Michael Kors. Founder and President of Asquan Group, Henri Tinchant is also the co-founder of HCT Group, where he spent many years.
“In a consolidating beauty market, it was essential to evolve. The acquisition of Asquan was an obvious step, given the strength of the complementarity between our two companies. It enables us today to become a leading global partner for global brands. At the same time we will further strengthen our environmental and social commitments. I look forward to working closely with Henri Tinchant. His unique industry experience will be a key asset for the Group.”
“This transaction strengthens our ability to support our clients while preserving their trust, through the constant attention we give them and an uncompromising level of service. The scale we are reaching today is a key lever. It strengthens our industrial footprint, reinforces our expertise, and expands our range of solutions.”
